Suggested fertiliser treatment
Nitrogen: standard advise +10%.
Potassium: standard advice.
Phosphate: standard advice.

Cultivation
Desprouting can be done, but not more than once. The best method to have a good tuber set, is proper pre-sprouting after taking off the top sprout before planting.

Plant spacing
28/35mm: 27 cm (50000 plants/ha).
35/55mm: 33 cm (40000 plants/ha).

Herbicide sensitivity
Use of metribuzin (Sencorex) can give some discolouration of the foliage and seldom a little yield reduction.

Fungicides
A strict preventative spraying schedule against late blight is necessary, as Corazon is susceptible.

Harvest
Three to four weeks after haulm killing to allow for skin set.

Storage
Corazon has an average dormancy and is suitable for long term storage at 4°C.
