Agrico Research, Bant
Thursday 7 and Friday 8 November
Open from 09:00 till 17:00 hours
As every year, Agrico will host its annual international Variety and Seedling Show. During this event, we will showcase our latest advancements in potato breeding, including new potato varieties and innovative seedlings. We will highlight the unique characteristics of our newest varieties, such as disease resistance, yield potential, taste, and suitability for different climates and soil types. The event also provides plenty of opportunities to catch up with Agrico and connect with other industry professionals.
The theme of this years Variety and Seedling Show is: Next Generation.
Next Generation refers to a range of potato varieties that are specifically bred to be more resistant to Phytophthora infestans, the pathogen that causes late blight. These varieties contribute to sustainable cultivation, because they offer a better protection against this main potato disease (Phytophthora infestans), with fewer crop protection agents having to be used. The added value of these sustainable varieties is becoming increasingly evident. Our Next Generation varieties are the path to sustainable use of natural resources for our future generations. During the show we tell you more about our Next Generation varieties.
