Variety and Seedling Show 2025
We are delighted to open our doors for the annual International Varieties and Seedling Show on Wednesday 5, Thursday 6, and Friday 7 November. This event offers a unique chance to delve into the newest developments in potato innovation. Discover our latest seedlings and promising new varieties, carefully selected to meet the needs of both growers and customers. With a strong focus on yield security, wherever in the world our varieties are grown, we continue to "think global, act local." In addition, the event also serves as a valuable moment to reconnect with Agrico employees and engage with fellow potato professionals from all over the world.

The theme: Stronger by Nature
The theme of this year’s Variety and Seedling Show is “Stronger by Nature”. Innovative varieties developed to perform; low on input, big on results.
Agrico’s focus this year is on future-proof varieties that are “stronger by nature”: naturally bred (non-GMO) and equipped to thrive in a changing world. From the effects of climate change to shifting laws and regulations, our breeding efforts respond directly to the real-world challenges faced by our growers and customers.
Through natural crossbreeding, we develop varieties with strong, inherent disease resistance, low input requirements, and high output performance. Our portfolio offers certainty where it matters most: yield, quality, and income. Whether it’s resistance to nematodes and viruses, natural protection against late blight (Phytophthora), or excellent storability, Agrico always has the right variety.
“Stronger by Nature” reflects both the natural power of these varieties and the breeding process that brings out the best of what nature offers.
