Agrico’s payout price for seed potatoes rises to € 59.84

Agrico will pay its members an average price of € 59.84 per 100 kg for seed potatoes of 28 mm upwards (including oversized tubers) from the 2024 harvest. This latest higher payout price reflects a strong demand for potatoes from both export markets and the processing industry.

Henk Feijen appointed as new CFO at Agrico

As of July 1, Henk Feijen will be appointed as the new CFO of Agrico. With this appointment, Agrico once again has a two-member executive board. Feijen, together with CEO Mark Zuidhof, will be responsible for managing Agrico B.V. and its affiliated companies.

Agrico PSA important participant during King and Queen visit to Kenya

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima paid a state visit to Kenya with a broad delegation in March 2025. Part of this visit included a roundtable with leading Dutch companies operating in Kenya. Agrico, with its joint venture Agrico PSA, was a prominent participant. Read more.

Rebuilding laboratories Agrico Research starts with demolition of old building

The renovation of Agrico Research has started. Today the demolition of the various laboratories of the breeding company in Bant (FL) started. Construction is expected to be completed around the summer of 2026.

Agrico acquires Royal ZAP’s seed potato activities. By means of this acquisition, Agrico has taken a step towards expanding its acreage, in order to meet demand. This offers the benefits of synergy, which will help Agrico to further optimize its organization.
